Explore China


China is a country full of cultural heritage. Attached is a video showing part of the most famous Chinese heritage like the Forbidden City, Great Wall, the Summer Palace and Lama Temple.

1- The Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial place from the mid-Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty. It is located in the middle of Beijing, China and now houses the Palace museum. For almost five centuries it, it served as the home of the Emperor and his household, and the ceremonial and political centre of Chinese government.

2- The Great Wall of China is a series of stone and earthen fortifications in China, built, rebuilt, and maintained between the 6th century to protect the northern boarders of the Chinese Empire from Xiongnu attacks during the rule of successive dynasties.

3- The Summer Palace is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill(60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water.

4- The Lama Temple also known as the "Palace of Pease and Harmony Lama temple", the Lama Temple is a temple of monastery of the Geluk School of Tibetan Buddhism located in the northeastern part of Beijing, China. It is one of the largest and most important Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the world.
